A video circulating online purporting to show a plot to carry out an attack on a school has been removed from the internet, according to media outlets.
The footage was uploaded on the social networking site Twitter on Thursday and appears to show masked men posing as members of the armed forces, police and emergency services, posing as children.
The video, posted by a user known as “Jihadi” and posted online by the extremist group Islamic State, shows two men wearing masks carrying rifles and handguns standing over a school.
A caption in the video reads: “We’re here for the school and we’re not going to stop until it’s gone.
“They’re all innocent, just like you are.”””
The video was removed from YouTube shortly after it was posted, but not before several hundred people commented on the video, according a statement from the Islamic State-affiliated Twitter account.”

“The video was removed from YouTube shortly after it was posted, but not before several hundred people commented on the video, according a statement from the Islamic State-affiliated Twitter account.
The “Jihadist” account was also behind the posting of a video earlier this month showing masked men carrying knives and other weapons in a suburb of Manchester, where 22 people were killed in the May 19 bombing.
The group has previously warned of a planned attack in the United Kingdom and in Australia.
In the video posted by the “JI” account, the masked men carry what appears to be a Kalashnikov assault rifle, a rifle-like device that is commonly used by the Taliban and other violent extremist groups.
According to the video description, the “attackers” plan to kill at least two people and injure at least five others at a nearby public school.”
The jihadis will kill innocent children, young women, elderly people, children and the elderly, and even people of colour,” the video said.”
You know, it’s a big deal because it’s not only the British people, it is a huge deal for the whole world.
“In March, the British military killed a suspected Islamic State sympathiser who was plotting to carry a knife and an explosives-filled car bomb to the London Underground.
